on October 31, 2016I take this to be correct. These are the first images I have seen of this in the wild. It was not known to Stewart being described as a new species by Professor Nasir who revised Primulaceae for 'Flora of Pakistan'. It was previously confused with Androsace robusta or A.muscoidea which were confused themselves in the past. I had heard of the plant through an introduction into cultivation by the Swedish Expedition to Pakistan in 1983. Presently known distribution Gilgit, Baltistan, Ladakh & W.Tibet.
